Hey Kids! Want to find out what you can do to help Cornerstone?
There are a lot of different ways for students to get involved.
Every student first grade and up can participate in our schoolwide Building for the Future Fundraising Competition! Each month, we we will raise money for a different project, and at the end of the month, the homeroom that raised the most money will have their choice of an ice cream or pizza party! Progress for this competition will be tracked on the bulletin board in the hallway outside the computer lab. In order to receive credit for donations, students must make sure donors note a specific student's name or grade level on any personal checks given to the school and/or on the online donation page where it says, "How did you hear about CCS?"
Another way students can help Cornerstone is by serving on our Student Recruiting Team! Students 14 and up can serve on our recruiting team and earn up to $300 for each family they successfully recruit to the school. Our records have shown that word of mouth is our most successful development tool. If you want to serve on the recruiting team, please contact Miss Johnson for details.
Students K-12 are welcome to attend our weekly prayer meeting, which takes places in the junior high homeroom on Wednesday mornings from 7:30-8:00 a.m. Come join parents, teachers, and other students as we pray for each other and the future of our great school.
Students can also help CCS by volunteering to help the school move over the summer. The volunteer tab isn't just for adults. Students, you, too, are a very important part of Cornerstone. Check out the volunteer tab now to see what sorts of things you might be able to do for CCS! |
