This professional development self-study program is delivered as an on-demand web-based course with an instructor available to answer questions. You will be engaged with the same powerful lessons and workbook activities taught in our full-day seminar. Six lessons combined with hands-on exercises ensure you understand the implications, requirements and opportunities associated with RAD. Throughout the training, you will deepen your knowledge of the principles of sustainability, while developing inclusion strategies to help small and diverse businesses scale up and build capacity during RAD conversions.

Our Building for the Future “Best Practices” seminars are making waves! Join us for an unforgettable learning experience aboard special Carnival Cruise Line sailings. Seminar consists of three 60-minute classes on sea days; and one 60-minute virtual tour of the ship's incredible sustainability at sea program.
The "Building for the Future with RAD" track is for professionals charged with making inclusion and sustainability happen as you engage with HUD's massive rehab of public housing that requires Section 3 compliance and green building certification. You will also learn how your organization can prepare for disaster recovery with immediate response and long-term solutions. Training includes drafting an inclusion plan to create your own individual RAD Sustainability & Inclusion program.
The "SEMS Entrepreneurial Development" track provides a pathway to success for Section 3, small and diverse business owners. Not only will you learn how to engage with HUD's $26 Billion construction project known as Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD), but also discover who gets $7.4 Billion in disaster recovery funds and how dollars are being spent. Training includes preparation to join the National Section 3 Disaster Recovery Ready Team and connect with purchasing agents in public and private sectors for contracts.
COST: $279 includes training on sea days plus access to online training when cruise is over. Cost of cruise is separate.

Join Mr. Bell as he presents his proprietary Building Blocks for Economic Inclusion model in a web-based two-hour class. This comprehensive new paradigm lays the foundation to rethink inclusion and diversity from a holistic perspective. The course consists of eight (8) interrelated "Building Blocks" that enable an entire organization or municipality to support an economic inclusion initiative.
